Here's a word of encouragement for new joiners who may feel ashamed of their sneaker or plimsoll fetish. A fetish can be pleasurable and life-enhancing just as much as 'normal' pleasures such as good food and wine, beautiful music, great art and literature, or sport. I don't wear plimsolls any more and I'm fine with that but the sight of a lovely girl in plimsolls will always be a delight. If a fetish isn't stopping you from living a normal life and from having normal relationships then there's no problem. People can just as easily become 'hooked' on 'normal' pleasures too. Where's the difference?

I am thanking plimpsole lover for his post of A FETISH IS NOTHING TO BE ASHAMED OF . Sneakers were literally a closet thing for some time. Anyone not understanding it tried to squash the fetish. Making a place for it with someone opend a whole new realm of pleasure. And after all what is normal?

Thanks for the appreciation Barb' (I hope it isn't a case of "Don't call me Barb!") and for the friendship offer too. I have to admit that ever since I posted it I cringe inwardly every time I see my misspelling right there in the title.
