Interesting. I never knew that was a thing. Not my cup of tea. I can see how it could be intriguing. A woman getting annoyed by her shoes getting ripped and then wearing them could be a sight. The only thing is I am picky in my particular preference. I would be afraid of the shoes getting trashed in a way that doesn't look like natural wear. I'm kind of picky, haha. A pristine, clean pair of shoes except for the collar lining being ripped apart looks strange. And, of course, the dog itself would learn bad habits and be then tempted to bother guests. I hate to be negative, though.
 
I have a Borzoi. She simply wouldn't involve herself in such unsophisticated foolery.
