Discussion Can anyone tell me this brand of sneakers from my description? (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I was in a restaurant yesterday in London and a sexy lady walked past me wearing a brand new pair of sneakers I did not recoqnise.

They are very close in appearance to Superga black canvas platform 2740 . There was a black 3cm square logo on the heel with white lettering. I thought I saw TOM as part of the white lettering on the black square (They are not new Tommy Hilfiger, I checked their UK website.) If they are old TH the lady has kept them in pristine condition! I was with a relative who is not "in the know" so a detailed exam was not possible! The sexy lady wearer must have walked past me at least 6 times to/from "powdering her nose" - darn infuriating! There was no logo on the sides or on the "tongue." I have discounted "TOMS" as I can spot their blue heel distinct logo from several metres away!

Can anyone help? If they are traceable/available (at a reasonable price) I will get some for my wife.

Talking of reasonable prices, I spotted a young women wearing a new pair of black Adidas "Gazelle" with the platform sole the other week. Shame they are £110 ($135 US) in the UK!!!!!

I did check the Toms site, but no go.

I did a Google search for sneaker brand logo images and although it returned loads of images for square heel logos, nothing matched.
I am due at the same restaurant later this week. Shall I flash fake ID and demand CCTV footage for my last visit? "All sexy female diners MUST have their sneakers ready for inspection!" Should I have walked past her table and dropped a load of pound coins? " Prostrate man under table back heel kicked in face by irate diner - News at 11." "HONEST, LOVE, I ONLY WANTED A LOOK AT YOUR TRAINERS!" (We Limeys don't tend to say "sneakers.")

Perhaps it was a Far Eastern rip off pair? Mind you, perhaps the sexy fashionista would not be beyond putting her own logo on a pair of Superga !?

If Alexa Chung can do it - why not she?
