I can remember when CVO sneakers were made in men's sizes. I'm not exactly turned on by guys in Keds, but because I wear them myself, I do like to see guys wearing them. It makes me feel less odd. Here's a few magazine clippings of guys wearing CVOs, plus a few shots of some of my own sneakers.

The woman is not Natalie Portman. These clippings are from the 80s, and she would have been too young. To me, she looks more like the actress in that Timothy Dalton James Bond movie. I'm a Bond fan, but I forget which movie it was, or the name of the actress. The movie villian's name was Sanchez, and the actress's name was Talia Soto, or something like that.
I have many magazine clippings of celebrities wearing Keds before they became famous, and were working as models. I'll post them when I have them all gathered.

The Bond movie I was trying to think of was Licence To Kill, and the actress' name was Talisa Soto. On closer examination, I'm thinking this model is not her, though the resemblence is pretty good.

What I find interesting is that most of the pictures with guys and girls in them - the guys are wearing Keds type and the girls are wearing some type of shoe, not Keds type.
It would've been cool to see them all in Keds in my opinion.

I'm sorry about the poor quality of these images, but I thought they were a good representation of guys in Keds, and I no longer have the original magazine clippings. All I have are these old xerox copies that were crappy to begin with. One picture shows both guys and gals wearing CVOs. I like the contrast between the Grants drinker and the Budweiser drinker.
