Ever have a nasty shoe dream? The kind that you wished had really happened when you woke up. I have nasty dreams every once and while but this one in particular was a little different, and it still has me wishing.
A while back my girlfriend and I were lying on the couch one evening (like we normally do) watching TV. We take turns watching shows that we like, but her favorite channel is the "Lifetime Movie Network"—the one that shows nothing but "chick" shows—if you know what I mean. So I usually end up dozing off about this time.
And on this occasion, you know how when you're asleep, things around you in the real world seem to effect whatever it is that you're dreaming? Well, this is what seemed to have happened.
I dreamt that we were sitting outside on some steps while she was talking with one of her friends, Sonya. As Sonya started walking away, my girlfriend looked at me and said, "Babe, can I ask you something? If you were to sleep with one of my friends, who would it be?"
Well, even in a dream state this question kind of surprised me! I didn't know what to say. But she pressed by saying, "Tell me, I wouldn't get mad."
I finally answered and mentioned Sonya. When I told her, she said in a curious voice, "Really… you would really like to sleep with her?
Are you attracted to her?" I said, "I don't know?"
and she goes, "Why? Tell me."
By now I was feeling pretty awkward. But I ended up saying, "kind of—."
She then asked, "What do you mean?"
I felt uncomfortable saying this to her, but I told her that I was attracted to her shoes.
She still has no idea about my fetish. But in this dream she was ok with it and said, "Would you like to have them?" I told her yes.
But just when you get to the good parts of any dream, you always seem to wake up. Well this is what happened.
I woke up to her watching the same channel. I was scared that I may have talked in my sleep but it appeared I didn't. She was like, "Hi again, sleepy head." Everything seemed normal. After her movie was over, we went to bed.
But while trying to sleep, I kept thinking about this dream, hoping it would continue. But it never came back. Like I said, my GF doesn't know about my fetish. But I'd like to tell her whenever we get married. And if she is open to the idea, after a while, I wouldn't mind slowly working up to ask if she would consider her friends shoes--especially Sonya.
A few weeks later she was watching that same movie again so I tried to pay attention. And sure enough, ½ way through it, there's a part where the woman asks her husband that question, "Which one of my friends would you sleep with?" So I figure that's what must have entered my mind while in a dream state. Kind of funny if you think about it, but what a good dream fantasy!
