Discussion Keds Figuring out Dates of Vintage Keds (1 Viewer)

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know of a good way to tell the date of different Keds? I would love to have way to verify the dates of vintage Keds when buying them, and most people on ebay or other sites don't post the dates, or just don't know them. I know it's pretty easy to track now because of just figuring out when they are being sold on the site, but for 80s, 90s, early 2000s-2010s, I am not really sure. Do any of the numbers or labels on the inside of the shoes mark the date of production; or can anyone easily tell based on visible changes to the Keds. I have some rough ideas of decades based on what the soles look like, but nothing specific.

If anyone has any knowledge or tips as to this, that'd be great. If I make any good headway or make a comprehensive list of markers, I'd be happy to compile and share for anyone who wants it. Thanks
