I'm going to be moving soon and have decided to part with a few pairs of true vintage Keds sneakers that I have and one pair of Converse sneakers.
The Keds are all quite old, likely from the 1960s, perhaps even late 1950s.
The blue Keds are women's size 5.5 and have the 'U. S. Keds' blue tag. There is some slight fading of the canvas and some discoloration of the laces, but there appears to be no wear and I consider them to be in wearable condition as the rubber is still flexible and shows no sign of dry rot.
The gray Keds are both women's size 7, both are pointy toe, both appear to be unworn. I have an original box for one pair that is in so-so condition. The laces on both have some discoloration but the canvas and rubber are both still in very good shape and I consider them both to be wearable.
The Converse sneakers are vintage white leather Chris Evert women's size 8.5. There is little or no wear. The rubber, leather upper, sole and laces all are in very good condition with the only concern being the slight overspray of glue has discolored and is somewhat evident where upper meets sole. These may also be wearable.
Now, while I indicate that they appear to be wearable, keep in mind that these shoes are all 35-60 years old and the usual caveats with footwear this old apply. They might fall apart in three steps, they may give you many miles of wear. Hard to say.
Pictures are attached. Let me know if you are interested with a reasonable offer. You will be paying shipping if you decide to buy them, so plan accordingly.
Thanks for looking and I hope these go to a loving home. 😄
