I don't know anything about this show but the promo pic has a black women wearing what look to be Keds knockoffs.

From IMDB "Hampton Chambers a newly released ex-convict striving to leave his criminal history behind and reunite with his family. Amidst this struggle, he grapples with frequent inexplicable moments of divine intervention."

The woman is actress Simone Missick, who also had a role in Marvel's Luke Cage and The Defenders. Government Cheese is currently streaming on Apple TV+. There are 10 episodes in Season 1, with new episodes airing on Wednesdays. The first 4 episodes are now available. Might be worth checking out to see how often those sneakers appear.

Government Cheese is a TV series on Apple TV+ about Hampton Chambers, a newly released ex-convict aiming to leave his criminal past behind and reunite with his family. Throughout his journey, he experiences moments of divine intervention. The show features a character who appears to wear sneakers that look like Keds. The first season consists of 10 episodes, with new episodes released on Wednesdays.

I just watched the first two episodes: It's a good show, in my opinion (funny in a quirky way) -- but no Keds (or knockoffs) yet, except a brief shot of a schoolgirl wearing what appears to be that type of sneaker in front of a class.
