Has anyone witnessed a girl/woman wreck her new athletic sneakers (Nike, Adidas, Hoka, Brooks, etc.)? I'd think this may be more common than casual sneakers like Keds in that the athletic shoes are worn for being active and the odds of coming across mud or water on a run or trail may be pretty good.
With the ongoing disappointments of few Keds and Tretorns being worn, I've been drawn more to some of the nicer running shoes as compared to AF1's, Nike Blazers and platform Converse.
