I guess this picture is posed by models (not sure why or in what context) but only a few decades ago this wouldn't have been considered a novelty kit but considered normal and fairly common.
The pure white is too me the oddest thing as many schools would have had more colour to their PE kits - well ours was at least but plimsolls at least indoors also quite normal as it was for us at a school. It seems to vary whether pupils especially the girls might wear socks though...
How does this kit compare to what other people remember of their old school kits?
