Anchors Aweigh!
Just returned from a convention in Milwaukee. While I was touring the historic Third Ward, I spotted three women wearing nice white Keds. The most mature women (mid to late 40s) was wearing a very clean pair of white canvas Anchors which she obviously had tucked away in the closet (maybe she only brings them out when she knows she'll run into a Keds fiend?!). The two younger women (late 30s to early 40s) were wearing like new Champions: a petite blonde with old-style white Champs and a bespectacled brunette with canvas 2K Champions, probably right out of the box! All three women were wearing white pants (some capri) and colorful windbreakers, and they were all quite pretty. Of course I sat right across from them on the trolley and made some small talk. It turns out they were in town for a medical convention. Oh how the wheels were turning..!
