Pretty rare sneaker that I've always had a draw to is the slingback sneakers of the early 2000's. I always thought they were sexy and easily able to tell of the wearer was truly barefoot, but they never really took off. Does anyone have anymore pictures they'd like to add to this post would be great!

I remember these back in those days. They were quite hot aling with the mule sneakers that were just as common. Just the different variations of platform sneakers of this time was super hot.

The mules were great too. They seemed to hold on just a little longer than the slingbacks. I blame the flip flops craze of the time. Sneakers in general was slim pickings during that time or atleast where I lived.
