The title of this made-for-Disney+ movie caught my attention, so I gave it a watch. It's a re-imagining of Cinderella (coincidentally a Disney property) with a gender swap, set in NYC (present day). Oh...it also has musical numbers and dancing (although I wouldn't call it a true musical). It's pretty hokey and predictable, but it has lots of sneakers in it. Problem is most of them are really ugly -- no Converse, Keds or Vans that I could see; a few pairs of Adidas due to product placement. I did like the notion that someone came up with a story focusing on sneakers that made it to the small screen, albeit not a great fit for most of the S-G community (my opinion). To be honest, the main reason I spent 1 hour 53 minutes watching this marginally-entertaining production was hottie Lexi Underwood, who plays Kira King. She was also in Season 2 of Cruel Summer and has made appearances on several family-type programs.
