"The Stranger Beside Me" is a 1995 made-for-television film that stars Tiffani Amber Thiessen and Eric Close. The plot revolves around a young woman named Jennifer, portrayed by Thiessen, who begins a relationship with a man named Chris, played by Eric Close. As the story unfolds, she discovers that her seemingly perfect partner harbors dark and dangerous secrets. The thriller delves into themes of deception and the realization that what we see on the surface may not always reflect reality.

In terms of wardrobe, Tiffani Amber Thiessen's character, Jennifer, is frequently seen wearing white Keds sneakers throughout the movie. This choice of footwear adds a touch of casual everyday style to her character, aligning with the film's setting and tone. The use of Keds also enhances the relatability of the character, providing a contrast to the more intense and suspenseful elements of the film's plot.

Yup...Tiffani's definitely a Keds girl! She wore them (or knockoffs) in nearly every episode of Saved By The Bell, and many episodes of Beverly Hills 90210 (as I recall) -- plus the more-recent Netflix series Alexa & Katie. I like that she almost always wears them sockless.

I didn't know she was in Beverly Hills 90210. My granddaughter watched Alexa & Katie and the tall blond wore Keds a lot.

Tiffani replaced Shannen Doherty (RIP ~ 2024) after she left the show in 1994. I believe her character was supposed to be a sister or relative of Brenda Walsh.

Interesting I had know idea. I never watched it. Is it worth the time?

From a sneakers perspective? Sometimes. Tori Spelling's character usually wore them, and there are other appearances of nineties-type athletic shoes. I think Luke Perry's character often wore black high-top Chucks.

Tiffani joined the cast in Season 5 (as "Val"); I watched that some time ago on DVD and have yet to watch the remaining seasons. When I saw the original broadcasts, I recall one particular later season had more sneaker content than the others -- I'll post more specifics after I finish re-watching the series.

In general, this is a typical teen drama show, although it was considered groundbreaking for its attention to current issues not addressed by other scripted television at the time, and became very popular with young audiences.
