This means that there have been more Keds this season on SNL than ever. I feel like the last pair was worn by the lead singer of Sleigh Bells back in 2017.
This is a nice nod to her Sally O'Malley character (who wore real keds) when Molly Shannon was a cast member. I couldn't catch whether she wore real keds or knockoffs. I feel like they were knockoffs in this episode. You can find those easily on Youtube.
