I have noticed on the Tretorn website that the Nylites seem to be updated to be a little more like the classics from the 80's and 90's. The white shoes seem to be actually "white" and not the off-white from the last few years. They also seem to have some additional padding around the ankle area. Has anyone else noticed this or am I mistaken?

No, you're not mistaken. They definitely look a lot better, more vintage. They are called the Nylite Plus. I haven't gotten a pair yet to confirm, but they look great!
