I am not that picky as long as the knock off resembles what it is referring to. The only time I get irritated is if people mix up name brands that are blatantly visible with very few photos to analyze, like where this one mainstream media piece called Superga Keds. Those are nothing alike. It's like they are trying to use Keds as a blanket term for canvas sneaker, like Kleenex for facial tissue. It might also be regional and cultural, too, like certain parts of the southern USA calling all soft drinks a coke, I'm not from a southern state, so that confuses me. The midwest calls it pop, and other places call it soda. Allen wrenches are a name brand, but the name is used to refer to hex wrenches. Saran wrap is brand name used interchangeably for a plastic wrap, you get the idea.
It is also a lot of work to track the photos down and post them if there are 100+ photos of randoms, let alone sorting them all out. It's still way more effort than many people including me do here. Even if it is the same photo set, some studios/models use a combination of knockoffs and name brands, like if they use white knock offs because they'll replace them if they get dirty anyways, while using name brands in darker colors.
