I agree. Converse girls don't seem as bashful with getting their shoes wet or muddy. As you said, they clean up pretty easy and even if they are a little stained, that seems to be okay. Keds girls usually try very hard to keep their shoes clean and dry. Sure, there are many girls that walk around in beat up Keds but there are also quite a few that will throw a pair of Keds out if they get really muddy. I recall lots of girls in college always wiping the first few blemishes off the rubber sides trying to maintain that "pristine" look. Not so much with the Converse.
