I don't understand why you like keds at all! I think they are the most boring shoes ever. I take them for chucks with the beautiful contrast parts, like the black trim and the toe cap removed!

The most beautiful shoes on a girl EVER is definately black chucks!

I like keds because i have a fetish for them.I think that my life revolves round them.I take them for what they are simple and carefree ..The most beautiful shoes on a girl ever ARE definately black keds ......
 
Have you looked in the guest area to see how popular black chucks are..Have you posted any ,if not why,seeing that they are your fetish lets see what you,ve got that makes them better than keds or which most of us will most probably assume of you that you are like a RAT, when the light comes on you run off ....

Its cool to see this board so active again. I don't mind if people argue their points as long as they keep it civil. The reason why you don't see many chucks posting is they're not a lot out there. Lets face it folks, the sneaker fetish is miniscule part of the internet community. And out of that keds and converse probably come last. If we stick together and respect each other views, we can help Seeker make this the premiere site for the sneakers we love.
 
Well Jimmy, Keds are not boring, they are simple. I just hate shoes that have swhooshes, swirls, colors, lines, and just toomuch going on. Keds have the classic design, shape, look, and the colors are just right.

Keds are inexpensive so you can have 30 pairs without the need for robbing the bank, they smell good, they taste good and theyare just the best shoes in the world. So keep your goofy, ugly cons to yourself. ANd I am SOOOO glad Converse went under!!! YEA!!!!! No more cons!!!

My reasons for liking Keds goes back to my earliest fantasies -- at that time the only sneaker a girl wore was Keds. There were really only two kinds of sneakers.

Converse all star high tops for boys. Keds for girls. Yes, keds did make sneakers for boys, but they were high tops. The only ones who wore canvase oxfords were girls and toddlers. By the time I became a teen, it was acceptable for boys to wear Keds-like tennis shoes with the then-version of khakis for the "proto-preppy" look but that didn't catch on that strongly at that time.

Other sneakers, even though they are made in women's sizes, and marketed under feminine names, are nothing more than men's shoes in women's colors.

There is also this: my interest in sneakers is a spin-off from a rubber fetish I had as a child. Sneakers have rubber soles. However soles with elaborate designs, zig-zags, circles, squares, and ripples aren't much use for the purposes I had in mind.
