Benefit of the doubt is she is trading something that isn't in her size. Still, I suspect low profile sneakers are out and Hoka-like sneakers are in. (I understand. They are higher profile, which makes women taller, super light weight, and comfy.) It is not all bad, though. Styles seems to come and go in cycles, much like stocks, real estate, or precious metals trends. Keds and knock offs seemed to be popular in the late 80's-early 90's. Then, Swift and others like Barton pushed them in the early 2010's. (Unfortunately, Toms took up much of the market share for the low profile styles in 2012ish timeframe, and that is ironically when Keds' quality was crap in my opinion.) It's like the Sega Dreamcast where timing was wrong, yet, quality was high. Yet, how could Ked's timing be worse when it came to low quality vs marketing push? I was hoping Designer Brands would have done something better than Wolverine, but it seems quite bleak, much like CEO's driving companies into the ground via... Yeah, I am a meme stock dude, too to fight against illegal naked shorting, but this is not that kind of forum. This is a sneaker forum. It's all connected. It is so hard to keep all these groups separate.
