Oooo... I like the way this is going. Lots of folks (present company included) reacting to this news.

Are the soles thicker than the original original champs? They kinda look thicker?

I was looking them over last nite after Kedsbabe wore them all day and comparing them to her old champs and they seem to be the same thickness in the sole, she really likes them because the canvas is softer and the insoles have more padding. we went back to JC Pennys last nite to get her more pairs of them but they were out so they let us order them at the sale price and no charge for shipping either.
And in all this excitement I forgot to thank Seeker for getting the information to us. also I think we should all send emails to Keds thanking them for the change.

Nice to see things are going back to normal but are they going to come out with some new colours for the summer? And hopefully they will use both with white stitching and solid colour stitching on keds again so that people can have a choice. Oh bye the way people you can buy Saved by the Bell episodes which are on DVDs. Nothing like watching Tiffany Amber Theisen wearing her keds. Makes me remember the good old days of being a teen.

Thanks for the tip on the new keds. We went to Pennys this morning and got a pair of the new white champs. She walked in the rain in them this evening and got them splattered.
 
I would like to see pics of her rain splattered Keds Slipon. Kedsbabe wore her new pair all day Friday,Sat, and Sunday, she ended up getting hers dirty Sunday while we were working on a remodeling project, I would have to say it was the best Keds weekend in a long time.
 
I wanted to pass on that we received the Keds that were orderd at Pennys and they were the wedge style, what a bummer, Kedsbabe is going to take them back to the store and see if they got anymore in since last week. we figure they are trying to dump the wedge style that they have in stock yet.
 
Keds have been using the Shopping channels to dump stock as well. They will be clearing those wedges for a long while I think.
