On the Dec. 20, 2025 episode of Saturday Night Live (SNL), Kenan Thompson plays a defendant charged with burglary, but he claims he is Santa. The judge is played by Arianna Grande. The prosecution (Mikey Day) dumps a bag of stolen women's lingerie, underwear, yoga clothes, and sneakers, which included New Balance and one Nike Air Max 270 sneaker. Day then called Thompson a pervert and Thompson responded can I be both (a pervert and Santa). This is the first time I've ever seen sneakers referenced on a TV show as something a perv might take.
