"The Neighborhood" is an American sitcom that premiered on CBS in 2018. The show focuses on a friendly Midwestern family who moves to a predominantly African-American neighborhood in Los Angeles, where they face challenges in adjusting to the cultural differences and winning over their skeptical new neighbors.

I saw that episode a number of years ago and noticed the sneakers; I'll have to watch subsequent shows sometime to see if there are more appearances (very likely). Unfortunately for us, the shots used in most sitcoms usually focus on the upper body or there's a table/ottoman blocking one's view of feet/shoes when actors are seated.

Gemma is played by Beth Behr. Her previous television show was the infamous Two Broke Girls, opposite Kat Dennings. She occasionally wore sneakers in some scenes.

Pretty good shots in the first episode including her stepping into a flooded basement wearing the navy. The shot below is from the 2nd season. I'm into episode 5 of season 1 so far. The show is kind of funny.

BTW...It ran for 8 seasons, cancelled only because the network couldn't continue to pay the high salaries of its A-list stars.

I'd heard of it but never watched. Looks like it's currently streaming on several platforms, so I'll check it out. 7 seasons!
