I think a lot of guys are hesitant about telling their wives / girlfriends (or both 😱 ) about the fetish for fear of ridicule.

It would be interesting to see what women think.

Based on my sample of one (Mrs. Mule), I think most women are very open to the concept. She considers it to be "very normal" and "totally harmless" and is glad that I picked something that is so easy for her to participate in. After all, it doesn't take as much on her part to wear sneakers as it would, say a leather busitier.

So, for those of you have had the good fortune of sharing your fetish with the woman in your life, what does she think? Better still, see if you can get her to answer herself 🙂

If there are any women out there reading this, what do you think?

To be honest, Treaty always seemed to be excepting of the fetish with me but a couple years ago she asked if maybe I had gay tendencies. Her rational was I like women's shoes so ... Well now I was shocked! I explained to her that gays like fxxxxxx men, gays don't like Keds and I don't fxxxx men I fuck women and occasionally the odd Ked.

It was the reason why I finally broke down and let her have a look at the site. A fetish is a fetish whether cork screws or sneakers. The thing is no matter what we need to take the time to explain and educate our spouses about the fetish or fetishes in general. Once they have a better understanding chances are you'll be happier. It can though also cause permanent problems. Women might never get over the fact that your love is shared with anything but her.

I don't think of the fetish object as something in competition for my wife's love, I think of it as an adjunct.

Why does she put on the sexy nightgown and wear perfume otherwise? She has her reasons. Maybe she thinks it makes her look more attractive. Maybe it helps put her in the mood. Maybe she thinks it just "adds" something to the event.

Can't we argue that it's the same with fetishes?

Confiding in your girlfriend/wife about the fetish

Confiding in your girlfriend/wife about the fetish

This is an interesting topic of which it is one I feel I can talk about with mixed results. I told my girlfriend/wife many years ago my fetish (20 years or so ago) although she suspected I had an interest in plimsolls when I always insisted in seeing her getting kitted out in sports gear. i.e top, skirt, white socks and most importantly plimsolls/sneakers. She also probably noticed that I could not keep my eyes off her feet.

She has never has a problem with this and quite happily wears plimsolls/sneakers daily. In fact I treated her to a pair of Keds while we were on holiday last year and to be honest they have not been off her feet since. She says they are one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes she has ever worn.

I recently set myself up on the mailing list at home and got some emails the next day. Unfortunately she noticed these and questioned why I was on the mailing list. She thinks of you all as potential dangerous people as I don't know you. So I don't think she could ever be persuaded to join in on the site in anyway.

I guess I'll just have to be happy that she accepts my 'pervy' passion and be content with that.

Cheers,

Fozzie

What women think

What women think

This is a very interesting topic, Mule.

As I said in my other posting the other night, I built up to the "big admission" with Mrs Superstar over a period of months, starting with buying her the sneakers. Once we had "the chat", I remember that she was quite OK, if not a little bemused (bearing in mind that we were college students back then).

She doesn't like me to give her the sense that sneakers are all there is (ie she has gone through quiet negative periods about sneaks, doing the girl thing, and being worried that "it's not me you're in love with, it's my sneaks", so you have to pull back a bit sometimes, I find.

But overall, she's pretty cool, and most always indulges, by wearing the sneaks in bed; she's been very pleased/relieved to find out via the internet that its widespread enough of a fetish to have spawned quite a few sites and groups etc. In fact, she now jokes that she's convinced that there are sneaker guys all over the place in various mental closets - I joke with her that all guys who work in sneaker shops are sneaker fetishists, and I think she half believes me, based on some of the discussions we have when we're buying sneaks!

She never wore sneaks before we met, but after I told her about it, she actually used it as an excuse to "wear really comfy shoes", and ever since, she's been the "sneakers and jeans" type of girl-next-door look, which suits me fine (this is almost 25 years now!), and she rarely wears non-sneaker type shoes (unless she really can't avoid it). And actually, she's often quite mischevious, and combines her comfort with my titillation by wearing sneakers with an outfit that women wouldn't normally wear sneakers with. She has a really large sneaker collection, after all this time of regular buying (the deal is that she must always make the choice, and not me, which is a small price to pay). She actually delights in going to swank functions with me with killer clothes and sneakers on, which is really cool - we recently went to a fairly up-market corporate do at the theatre and wore some really swank block pants and a long top with jewellery, and a new pair of reebok dmx's (color coordinated of course).

Do any other sneaker wives do this sort of thing?

As a final note, my sneaker wife isn't really into keds at all, and considers them "nurses shoes", so I've got a bit of a battle there - she's wear them in bed, but that's it, and usually Bliss types or deck sneaks. Her modus operandi in her "Bed Bliss" (knowing that they drive me nuts) is to allow me to put them on her while she is propped up up in bed with a hot chocolate and reading a "bodice ripper", and let's me put them on her and then lets me cum all over them, which has become a standing joke in our house about the term "Bliss"!

Anyway, enough rambling for now, but this is very theraputic guys!

Hi Mule and all,

I think that everyone is reluctant of sharing their private fetishes or thoughts for fear of humiliation, ridicule and rejection. Male or female..

I do think that the sooner a person can share the better off they are.. I am not saying that on a first date one should blurt out they like to masterbate with their Keds or the smell of canvas makes them hornier than a 10 peckered goat.. that might send the female in question dashing off in her clunky shoes..

In my own personal situation my crazy Kedslover began telling me early on in our relationship how much he loved Keds.. I kinda had taken notice of what had been covering his feet so this did not surprise me.. Though at this point I still had no idea to what extent he loved them..

Without going into personal detail he one day pulled out a pair of my old sneakers from under his bed that I had thrown in the trash.. That very moment I knew that he really had something going on with Keds...

The whole idea of him and Keds turned me on and I couldn't wait to find out more... I just wanted to know and embrace this love he had.. So, I searched the Internet and couldn't find much but I remember sending him an e-mail with an attachment with some pics of Keds.. Sending him this was a real stretch for me as I was worried he would think I was intruding into his own private thing.. Thankfully my worries were all for naught as it really opened the door for us.

I have worn Keds on and off since I was a young girl. I never thought of them as a sexual thing until last year when I met my Kedslover.. Now Keds are the first thing i look for when I enter a store.. I get soooooo excited when I find a pair in the style we like in his size or mine. We love to wear them and play with them!!!! I am grinning right now just thinking of how much fun we have sharing this whole thing..

If he had never shared with me or if I had never pursued we would both be missing out on everthing we now share...

Mule.. you are absolutely correct.. Wearing Keds is much easier than wearing a bustier and a hell of a lot more pleasurable.. I was recently in Fredricks with a friend who spent over $300. on stupid looking stuff. I smiled at her and looked down at my comfy, dirty champions and said "these are all I need."

Seeker- you said "Women might never get over the fact that your love is shared with anything but her" Good point.... All the more reason to share and get them to love it too.. If that can be accomplished there is zero jealousy or worries..

Sorry to be so long winded.. You asked if a woman was reading and you got me.. bla bla bla

You can tune me out now 🙂

Thanks for the insight, Kedsmamma. CJ is a lucky guy to have a girl so enthusiastic about this fetish. Some of us are still struggling.

Occassionaly, I will order some Keds for Mrs. Mule on line. However, sometimes we go to a shoe outlet and look at the sneakers. She has a fairly good idea what to look for, but always shows me the soles and asks, "Are these OK?"

It's a little embarassing when there are other people around. If there is another sneaker phreque in the store, then I am sure he (she!) has no doubt about what we are talking. 😳

What women think of our fetish ~

What women think of our fetish ~

Mule... Your last post made me smile...
The other day cj and I were purchasing a pair of Keds when I noticed a guy standing near us with an odd look on his face.. His eyes darted to what we were paying for and then to our feet ~ we were both wearing our Keds.. He got this smirky kind of grin on his face as though he knew what we were buying then for.... Could he be a member???

I think this is a great topic! with some wonderful replies! We should always strive to improve our relationships with our partners and continue to communicate - having a better understanding of "who" we are sharing our lives with, I feel, makes the difference from a life of existence to a life of living....
