Adult rated Keds What women think of our fetish

I must admit the one thing that is still a bit of a problem for Treaty is that she says she gets embarrassed at times when I wear Keds when we are together and comments that she is going to buy me some "manly sneakers".

I can see her point but I feel like why should I pretend to be someone I'm not and why should I wear something I don't particularly like. I did buy some sports sandles last years I also bought some Sperry Topsiders deck sneakers. On the other hand, I want to do things that please her and her opinion, respect, happiness mean a great deal to me, so there are other considerations.

yes, we all need to consider our partners happieness and opinions! but we all have to remember our partner is a unique individual with funny quirks and/or idiosyncrasies that we need, not must, to accept. If we take away any part of their "colorfulness" then we are stripping away at the very person that enlighten us in the beginning.

bc has these outragous shorts, I mean down right ugly! there are so ugly they make me laugh when he wears them, and if I am really depressed, he'll put on the shorts, along with a pair of gray socks and brown boat shoes. Oh how manly!!!! - he looks so manly in this get-up, that I walk on the other side of the street! no lie! its a sight no human should have to endure :lol: - but by telling him not to wear this, um, colorful corridation of clothing, I would be taking away part of him magic that makes him so wonderful.

Anyway, glad to be here, long time wearer of Keds and Nikes....and hope to meet Treaty and Nightingale soon!

I think we all have a outfit like that, Treaty goes wild if one of us (me or the boys) tries to go out of the house with socks and sandles.

She over the past few years converted me from plain white t-shirts to ones with a design and has bought me several pairs of wild shorts. There seems to be some sort of competition between the wives to who can find the loudest and ugliest shorts for their husband to wear. I inturn have grown my hair long and very often scoot around the neighbourhood on my sons scooter. It has brought fits to some of the wives.

All this has made me feel like I'd better get back to doing situps to get back into spring/summer shape. 😉
 
oh that is so great that your wife and the others have a shorts competition! The things we wives do for our men! You gotta love us! Seriously though, that is a great example why we are all different - what might bother me, stupid looking shorts, doesn't bother Treaty - but then if you wore Keds, it wouldn't bother me, I'd just chalk it up to your, being you, with all the character colorfulness and quirks :roll:

The truth is out - Cj has (one) pair of ugly shoes (supposed manly sneakers) and I hate them!! He only wears them when he feels the need but to me he looks soooo good in Keds and soooo wrong in those other shoes.. I would never personally feel embarassed if he wore Keds all the time no matter where we went!

It feels good to have reached a place in life where I no longer give a rats rump what others think..

However, I should mentions that Cj has a lucky pair of shorts (which are actually boxers) that I wouldn't be seen in pubic with him wearing.. even if he wore his best white champions.. so I guess we all have our limitations 😛

Great subject. I think all the women who except us for who we are, are really wonderful giving people. This not only shows in them excepting and participating in our ked fetish but in general. They have to be opened minded. And although I think that our ked fetish is 99 percent male, there are a few females with our fetish, and I'm sure they have the same issues as we have. Excepting one self, and having a partner willing and giving enough to except us is the meaning of life, isn't it?

I am seeing a woman now that is so open to our ked fetish. (not like my x-wife.) She uses her knowledge of my fetish wisely! I'll try and get her to participate, too. I think you'll like her.

Keep wearing your keds (and whatever else you like, however ugly!),
