Probably in my high school years, trainers were banned from our school, if you were caught wearing them you were made to change into plimsolls, fell in love seeing them constantly being worn.

I attended three schools - 1st plimsolls were worn (didn't think about it at all), 2nd they weren't but the 3rd it was back to wearing them again It did seem a retrograde step to have to regress back to primary school footwear though, and somewhat embarrassing🫤

It was just a coincidence that the girls most of us hormonal boys fancied tended to have beat up 'pumps', mainly marbots but one girl had a great pair of lace up dunlops which appeared for 'games' and if I was lucky at the odd lunchtime. Hence the start of a fetish -well, that is my theory.

The school didn't expect them as any form of punishment at all, but indoors PE lessons were historically barefoot I believe, so the school allowed plimsolls if you didn't want to do this.

It was just me personally that considered plimsolls instead of trainers a retrograde step, having been used to trainers before.

To add to it all, socks weren't listed for the indoor people kit so wearing them on bare feet meant I was was doubly aware of them!

A couple more with a uniform theme...this was the first set i ever saw with patina in a magazine - so mirrored my experience/fantasies (apart from the spanking) in school. It was quite a reach to the top shelf back then.
