It's interesting how it has changed in the last few weeks. I went from being so self conscious about it to now when I wear them I don't even really think about them (or at least not every second). I was running errands a few days ago, looked down, and thought, "Oh yeah I'm wearing Tretorns!" Silly, I know especially for those of you who have been wearing them for years!

On the other hand, I do somewhat miss the thrill like I was getting away with something when I first started wearing them and was worried who would see me in them. Bottom line is I am so in my head overthinking Tretorns!

I wear what I want, irregardless of the gender. I’ve specifically bought Keds in red, white, bk/wh, Reebok freestyles, and other sneaker brand and styles. When the Nike Dunks with the wedge inside came out, I had those in several colors and textures. I only got strange looks if I walked into a shoe store and the sales people recognized what I had on.
It totally depends on how you carry yourself when wearing your gender shoe choice, if you’re not giving off “self-conscious vibes” most ppl won’t give your shoes a second look.

I wear Keds every day now. Navy, black/white, black/black, grey and white canvas. And I wear all black leather Keds.

My only complaint is that they have been out of size 13 XW for months now while they run all their discounted sales 🙁(

I’m hoping this is just a supply chain issue and not a sign that they are discontinuing the size 13 XW.

Would also really love to see them make a double decker size 13 XW
