Wow a post from 2005 is still current and still a valid question.

Yes I wear Keds virtually all summer everywhere. No one seems bothered by it or even notices. I also have Prokeds for when something a bit more rugged is required.

I wear Vans pretty much exclusively. I have many pairs

It's been so long since Keds were viewed as a women's or girls sneaker. Less and less people would even remember it. I may get a pair for myself someday

Resurrecting this thread again! Recently I’ve gotten braver about wearing my women’s Tretorns in front of my wife and in public. Yesterday I wore them to run errands and kept them on all day. It was such a turn on! Like so many have said: wear what you like!

There really is no difference, just larger sizes. They are inherently feminine to me, so just wearing them at all is a turn on! I definitely try to wear women's when I can get a large enough size.

It's interesting how it has changed in the last few weeks. I went from being so self conscious about it to now when I wear them I don't even really think about them (or at least not every second). I was running errands a few days ago, looked down, and thought, "Oh yeah I'm wearing Tretorns!" Silly, I know especially for those of you who have been wearing them for years!

On the other hand, I do somewhat miss the thrill like I was getting away with something when I first started wearing them and was worried who would see me in them. Bottom line is I am so in my head overthinking Tretorns!
